Daily Duties at Caqh:

Executive-level oversight of the CORE rule writing and maintenance activities to ensure all CORE existing and proposed rules are aligned with CORE’s strategic imperatives such as edu-cation, public/private collaboration, certification ACA/regulatory alignment and voluntary health IT efforts. Oversaw organization’s request/response process, triaging inquiries, tracking fulfillment and con-ducting analysis for trends. Accountable for the planning, development and implementation of both government mandated and voluntary operating rules for the health care industry, with a projected administrative savings of more than $8.5 billion. Authored strategic plan addressing maintenance of current membership base through expansion of services and marketing to generate ROI. Oversaw the organization and release of the national CORE vote on Phase IV operating rules, achieving an impressive 91% response rate and 88% approval rate. Fully automated the CORE Certification process, which transitioned from paper to total online submission and tracking of applications, testing and final package review. Achieved a 100% in-crease in CORE Certifications, resulting in a 25% increase in Certification revenue, and surpas-sing 300 Certification mile stone. Fifty percent of these new CORE Certifications took place since joining CAQH CORE. Responsible for revamping of Outreach and Education program, including recruitment of new Senior Manager and Senior Project Association, and development of strategic communications plan encompassing website, webinar, video, e-learning modules and other ancillary activities, such as membership marketing. Oversaw revisions to the Outreach and Education lifecycle document. Improved business operations and management processes. Oversaw and managed administra-tive resources including financial and acquisition strategies, creating a template for requests for proposals, tracking of contractor deliverables and post-contract analysis; strategic conference planning and budgeting; SharePoint deployment; diverse workforce supervision, including evalu-ation of personnel for succession planning; streamlining of business operations processes; per-sonnel issues, including approval/disapproval of leave, temporary and permanent hiring, payroll processing, annual budget preparation and analysis, staff training and mentoring.
