Daily Duties at Giant Pharmacy:

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND I am a motivated, detail-oriented Pharmacist with strong organizational skills, accustomed to fast-paced, high-pressure environments, supervising multiple employees, writing schedules, and overseeing daily operations. My extensive pharmacy background includes serving patients as both a pharmacy owner and as a retail pharmacy manager/staff pharmacist in independent, chain and military pharmacy facilities. My experience includes running cost efficient independent pharmacy businesses, increasing sales by 8-10% yearly. Offering and providing health screenings, MTMs (Medication Therapy Management), CMRs (Comprehensive Medication Reviews), Immunization services, Diabetes care and counseling, plus mentoring pharmacy students and interns are of primary importance to me. Regulating the supply of narcotic drugs, non-narcotic prescription medications and over-the-counter remedies, and ensuring all drugs and dosages are accurate for patients and prescriptions were provided in an efficient and timely manner is imperative. I am familiar with multiple pharmacy computer systems and a fast learner on new ones. I am passionate about offering extra support and superior customer service to patients and providing cohesive team participation and/or effective leadership on a pharmacy team. Dealing constantly with insurance providers and physicians to match patients with cost saving, equally beneficial drug regimens is my priority in running a business or a pharmacy and assuring patients that their best interest and their health is in my best interest too.
