Daily Duties at Rockwell Collins:

Ensure products will be valued by customers (include how many products and numbers) • Lead for sales and marketing requirements for Rockwell Collins’ Inflight Entertainment systems, Software and Connectivity product line. • Analyze markets, competitors, and airline customers to identify trends, emerging technologies, and unfulfilled needs • Drive product strategy and develop marketing requirements for software and hardware products to remain competitive and drive long-term profitability • Serve as the voice of the customer with internal groups such as engineering, software development, finance, and project management to limit compromise that may jeopardize overall business plan Ensure Sales force is effective in selling products • Create and communicate go-to- market- plans • Collaborate with account teams to identify and pursue opportunities by region • Develop and deliver training on competitive positioning, product attributes, value proposition, and overall messaging • Direct the creation of streamlined pricing and proposal tools to increase accuracy and reduce turn time Ensure customers clearly understand the value of products • Meet regularly with customers to present product updates and to understand their product strategies • Deliver effective presentations and business models to customer executives and key decision makers • Coordinate with internal marketing groups on annual marketing plans and product collateral • Lead the strategy for participation and product presentation at industry events and trade shows
