Daily Duties at Us Navy:
Coordinated the schedule of aircraft maintenance with aviation specialty shops in the Maintenance and Production workshops to ensure operational flight status and aircraft system reliability. Logs and records track aircraft, component hours, and hours on individual bolts and screws. Organized libraries of technical publications, reports and maintenance data on all aircraft to keep track of their life span on aircraft in the P-3 and S-3 Viking community Performed clerical and administrative duties such as data entry, research, preparing reports and correspondence, filing, typing, answering phones, and performing data base and system analysis. Administrators must pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure pilots and crewmembers return back home safely. Everything must be documented, checked twice for accuracy and filed and logged according to FAA rules and regulations. Maintained Engine log books and aircraft equipment log books for over 12 P-3 Orion aircraft and 10 S-3 Viking aircraft valued at over 20-40 million dollars each. Created study guide disks containing study material pertaining to each aviation job rating for a success rate in promotion/advancement to 6 Aviation shops.
