Daily Duties at Emory University Hospital:
• Trained for operating room, oncology, and intensive care satellites and central pharmacy • Manged 40 to 50 patients per day focusing on Pharmacokinetics for aminoglycosides, experimental drug allocations and monitoring, as well as IV dosing and admixtures, emergency code cart training and unit dose dispensing, chemotherapy dosing and parameter monitoring, organ transplant solutions, and operating kit preparation • Programmed and updated Abacus system as needed for clinical trials and specialty cases. • Used USP 797 guidelines to recompile compounding, storage and stability charts for IV room • Organized and assisted with daily management of IV room and six technicians for four years • Assisted with preceptoring students from Mercer and UGA on monthly rotations
