Created an internal team and developed external OEM relationships that allowed Nortel to put together a successful bid to a major US Telco with a license for the MMDS spectrum in the US. Following the need to deliver a product that better addressed the customer needs for data and capacity enhancements in the narrowband space, led a development team that would later evolve into a global wireless product known as WiMax.
