Daily Duties at Txu Comanche Peak Nuclear Steam Electric Power Plant :
As Sr. Instrumentation & Control Technician - install, calibrate, adjust and repair plant instrumentation, controls,valves, analyzers and electronic circuit boards and control loop s. As Sr. Metrology Technician - ensure that all plant instruments used in the plant calibrations were directly tracable to a known physical repeatable standard at the National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) and statistically met the 4:1 requirement between the standard and the test equipment and to evaluate any failures.
