- Managed equipment on projects up to $150,000,000. - Managed a fleet with 620 assets. - Responsible for Assets (Equipment/Machine/Vehicles) that account as largest capital investments in the company, responsible for management of these assets in a manner that minimizes unnecessary expense and contributes to maximizing the organization’s ability to earn a profit. - Inspect the equipment to determine needed repairs, adequate maintenance, and adherence to company policy. - Developed Internal/External rental rates for all equipment. - Assist Procurement Manager with equipment sourcing and purchasing. - Specify the specs of required equipment before purchase to determine suitability for company projects, needed repairs, condition, and value for acquisition. - Negotiate the vendors/suppliers for repairs, warranty issues, disputes, and purchase of equipment and services. - Prepare monthly equipment expense reports. - Inspection of site records on all facets of onsite equipment inspection, maintenance, repairs and safety. - Instruct equipment operators on proper maintenance and operation of equipment. - Assist Site Managers and Foremen with equipment issues and record keeping. - Manage major repairs of equipment to ensure correct and cost effective repairs. - Developed preventative maintenance program and systems. - Instituted undercarriage inspection program to help plan undercarriage repairs in advance to avoid catastrophic failure. - Monitor equipment repair costs on a monthly basis. - Monitor and manage the current office complex facilities, and physical plant. - Recommend disposal of equipment dependent on age, operating costs, condition, anticipated repairs, utilization, and replacement with newer units and technology to ensure a benefit to the company operations. - Manage Equipment Module (Equipment Management Tools) in SAP software - Identify, assess, analyze and put plans to mitigate the risks related to equipment utilization and logistics. - Ensure the maximum availability of GCC machines & equipment by implementing the maintenance plane, and PM schedule.
