Daily Duties at Christ Hospital Testing Center (Merged From Ohio Heart):
• Created a transitional work environment for staff and patient care to provide the most efficient and most up to date care • Researched, purchased and trained staff on new equipment • Implemented and taught Radiation Safety Programs to staff for yearly competency testing • Facilitate the day to day operations of the five Cardiovascular Testing Centers • Oversee the use of imaging equipment, the administration of contrast, medications and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures • Update the computer systems/ pull statistical information as needed to continually make sure that the testing centers are efficient and giving the best quality patient care • Create daily work schedules for the Diagnostic RNs and Nuclear Technologists • Resolve Staffing issues- personal or professional • Employees Performance Appraisals for professional competencies • Maintain accreditations and Nuclear labs licensures according to state regulations • Oversee transmission of the images for the interpretation physicians and to maintain a timely read for the patients • Updating Nuclear Cardiology Protocols as needed per the state or institutional needs • Keep the Nuclear labs within all guideline of the NRC and Joint Commission • Monthly reviews of the staff and facilities for inspections Payroll - bi-monthly for staff
