Daily Duties at Jp Morgan Chase:

Director of Webhosting and Application Engineering managing a group of resources responsible for worldwide support of all Central Technology and Risk Business Services (seven different lines of business) for JP Morgan Chase reporting directly to CTO of CTRBS BAI. Teams are located in North America, Europe and India. Management of day to day production of support, project forecasting, resourcing of projects and project delivery. End of Life (EOL) determination for middleware applications (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.) and providing a migration path to that version of existing applications. Interfaced with and supported in house client base and vendors, budget creation and forecasting and determination of workforce necessary to support the bank’s demands. Frequent status if provided to organizational CTO. Responsible for semi-annual job reviews, earned talent reviews and career path development planning for direct reports. Implemented “offshore” strategy saving over $1M in salaries alone while decreasing SLA for non-critical requests for services and meeting or exceeding SLA for critical requests for services.
