Daily Duties at Cvs Caremark:
I worked the overnight shift for about 18 of the 19.5 months I worked at CVS. I was the only employee during the night shift responsible for filling and compounding of upwards to 60 to 70 prescriptions, and counseling patients as needed. I was also responsible for a wide variety of inventory issues, restocking, etc., while working on the night shift. I also periodically monitored the hard copy prescription files to guarantee adherence to legal requirements in regards to patient and doctor information such as DEA number, usually without being asked to do this. My last 5 to 6 weeks at CVS I had been transferred to the day shift in which I oversaw up to 2 pharmacy techs and 1 pharmacy clerk while coordinating 120 to 250 prescriptions per day.
