Daily Duties at Cp Kelco:

Provided leadership in fermentation, recovery, and packaging of food and pharma grade bio-products Coached and guided 12 front line Supervisors and 6 Process Technicians in daily operations of a 24/7 manufacturing process Developed and coordinated production schedules and maintenance shutdowns Implemented preventive measures following troubleshooting of contamination source Interfaced with R&D on plant trials and scale up of new equipment Coordinated and scheduled production schedules and maintenance shutdowns Assisted in troubleshooting contamination sources and setting preventive measures Front line supervision of 25+-production operators in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Directed shift team activities to meet company goals Held monthly safety and production meetings with subordinates Trouble-shoot equipment searching for bottlenecks Provided technical support associated with process R&D improvement Represented department on process teams and new process implementation • Evaluated performance of employees and provided coaching and counseling • Procured departmental supplies and raw materials • Responsible for on-site security and emergency response • Ensured all Safety, GMP, and Quality policies are followed • Developed and presented progress reports on special projects • Worked with plant on several AIB audits.
