Daily Duties at Authentix Inc:
I was hired to help stabilize the supply chain after the company closed down on of their distribution centers in the UK which handled 70% of the company's shipments. Information was not adequately transferred to the Dallas office, so they needed someone who knew how things worked on a global scale to try to normalize the situation by mapping out a new distribution plan. I managed all freight movement throughout the supply chain-import and export. I ensured accuracy of shipments and on time delivery to customer and supervised 4 coordinators. Reason for Leaving I left because with the selling of the company, continuous improvement was no longer a priority. Extreme cost cutting eliminated most of my crew, and I decided to take a job for a higher salary which promised another opportunity to advance.
