Daily Duties at Quad Graphics:
• On site management of manufacturing operations and finance for weekly news publication while client is transitioning to vendor’s (Quad Graphics) workflow. • Executed value stream mapping to ascertain the current workflow and provide schedule of transition to efficient future state workflow • Implemented automated production system and ad portal to replace manual processes. • Conducted audit of paper inventory in preparation of sale. • Implemented advance MS Excel skills to create a complex financial model to confirm accuracy of print invoices to contract prices and track expense trends. Also created database to support general ledger expense details. Provides basis for analytical pivot tables and reports. • Audited and revised budget models to improve accuracy reducing forecast by $450k of anticipated expenses. • Utilizing strong communication skills to instruct client’s staff on the use of the new systems and models.
