Daily Duties at Intralot S.A:

 Technology involved - Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i UNIX IBM AIX environment.  Installed Oracle 11g RAC on Oracle Enterprise Linux using Cluster and ASM Installation.  Created User Groups OSASM and CRS for ASM and Cluster Installations as a part for RAC Installation on Linux.  Created and used Partitions on high volume transaction tables.  Created partitions at data level and index level and created separate tablespaces at data level and index levels.  Installed Oracle Grid Control 10g and Grid Control Agent on Oracle Enterprise Linux to monitor all the DB running on IBM AIX servers and a few db’s on Windows.  Installed Oracle Database 11g on new instances in Dev and Test and QA db.  Managed ongoing Oracle database maintenance install, configure, support and apply patches and upgrades. Upgrade Security patches from 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0, 3 on a some specific databases.  Scheduled cron jobs and OEM jobs for doing automated OS and DB tasks.  Monitored database performance by using Statspack report and AWR.  Used Oracle Data Pump for Export/Import of schemas from different DB’s.  Used Oracle Advanced Replication, Data Guard, Streams for aiding in Disaster Recovery.  Used legacy backups and RMAN for Backup and Recovery.  TOAD, PL/SQL Developer Tool, SQL Procedures & Packages.  Optimized stored procedures, Packages, Triggers for faster performance.  Used EXPLAIN PLAN, AUTOMATED SQL Tuning, etc., to fine tune queries, improve performance & reduce CPU I/O.  Used SQL Trace and TKPROF for application tracing for Instance, Session and Module levels.  Implemented Oracle Streams based replication and moved from existing Oracle Advanced Replication and Data Guard for the new Oracle BI Database.  Managed Data Mapping & Data Model Changes using DDL and DML scripts.  Used Toad Data Modeler for Data Modeling.  Used stored procedures and packages to process XML data.  Set standards to developers to use a Controlled Build to Release environment.  Used X-manager for UNIX AIX environment.  Used Microsoft Visual Source Safe for Version Control.
