Daily Duties at Boeing:
Developed and implemented organization-wide policies, programs, and procedures to safeguard people, property, the environment, and company information; ensured all policies and procedures were in accordance with applicable fire and security regulations. Coordinated with local government agencies and management on fire and security issues. Successfully re-negotiated $1.75 Million, 5-year fire services contract with Spirit Aero Systems. Transitioned fire department EMS operations into Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services System. Implemented 2008 IAM/Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) strike contingency plans for Wichita Kansas site. Negotiated contract with the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) bargaining units. The result of the IAFF contract achieved a reduction in cost moving from 3 eight hour shifts to one 24 hour shift.
