Daily Duties at Cisco Systems Inc.:
Managed and maintained key required releases annually, from concept commit through First Customer Ship(FCS), to release new Anchor features and patches and fix critical customer found bug backlog that increase revenue and keep client environment stable. Led team of 15+ Cisco WAN Managers (CWM) that managed ATM / Frame-Relay switches. Hired a strong technical team both in US and India to deliver key components of SNMP and Test-Automation functional areas for multiple concurrent releases with customers new features and bug backlog fixes. Kept the team motivated to get most productivity from the team by rewarding, awarding and getting closure to the team to understand their needs and concern. Worked with product management and field teams to understand customer needs and to define the product feature set for various releases. Scoped features for SNMP and Test-Automation functional areas and developed timelines to align with appropriate releases. Worked with other engineering functional area teams to understand Test-Automation requirements for various features to deliver test-automation features for functional and integration testing to deliver stabler builds to test team.
