Daily Duties at Cisco Systems Inc.:

Managed team of 5 Technical Program Managers, Agile Scrum-Masters and Operations Managers. Hired a strong technical and business operation team of Program and Operations managers both in US and India to manage all the 5+ complex programs at anytime. Kept the team motivated to get most productivity from the team by rewarding, awarding and getting closure to the team to understand their needs and concerns. Transformed Intercloud Fabric (ICF) for Hybrid-Cloud Program’s Engineering team of 100+ engineers, from Waterfall to Agile, using new process/tools. Tracked cross-program health for each of 5 highly complex programs via weekly cross-functional meetings. Identified team/program risks and evaluated their impact on upcoming milestones worked on various recovery options to mitigate the risks to keep program milestones on track and communicated with executive management to get sign-off on the appropriate recovery plans. Assisted with cross-program dependency coordination, impediment / blocker identification, visualization and escalation resolution. Interfaced w / Cisco and partners cross-functional teams to manage component products for Cisco Nexus 1000V (N1K), the industry's leading Layer 2 Soft-Switch and Intercloud Fabric Solution, the industry's leading Hybrid-Cloud offering based on OpenStack, keeping releases on track. Partnered with VMWare’s Global Technical Alliance, Program Management, Product Management and Development teams to facilitate major release requirements, APIs, design, development, beta and full End2End testing, resulting in contract extension to integrate Cisco’s N1K with VMware vSphere and vCD.
