Daily Duties at Nuance Communications, Inc.:
Promoted to TSM from SQC after performing many TSM duties as an SQC. Created spreadsheets to monitor overall account as well as individual and team metrics. As a result of providing these spreadsheets to other TSMs, they were able to monitor their teams' metrics and subsequently increase productivity and decrease errors of their teams by being able to track what types of errors were occurring and immediately provide additional training in those areas. Proactively coached and trained my team of medical language specialists and quality control staff daily to improve individual metrics to meet or exceed required minimum of 99% accuracy and required lines per hour. Monitored and maintained 8 accounts and creatively scheduled staff to insure proper coverage 24/7 and maintained turn around time of reports at required minimum of 95%.
What they like about Nuance Communications, Inc.:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
