Daily Duties at Fluor Enterprises, Inc.:

• Automation Lead-CAD support for the Cornerstone Copper project: Plant Design System (PDS) automation with Work shares in New Delhi and Aliso Viejo satellites. CAD support for all disciplines, user training of MicroStation & PDS software. Project setup & customization (mechanical, piping, dwg, structural, electrical). Isogen setup & customization. User training as required. CloudWorkx & Leica training. RDB (piping spec writer-adviser). Established remote connectivity to the database from the site. Lead weekly coordination meeting with other sites. Advice Plant Design on issues related to model reviews with the client. Write scripts to automate processes. • Plant Design Lead for Boleo project (10 tons/day –Copper Leaching, Baja CA.): For two years, managed the plant design & piping group (12 people in Dublin) for the Boleo project. Responsible for the overall execution of design, stress, material engineering & piping material control groups. This was a PDS workshare between Dublin, CA, Mexico City & and outside vendor in Israel. I also served as the PDS Admin-support for the Dublin site & deployed/automated the workshare among different sites. Dealt with multiple vendors and coordinated model reviews before transferring ALL design areas to Mexico City after 30% model review. • Coordinated the “FMI Sierrita Copper Expansion Project” for all aspects of 3D modeling using the Plant Design System (PDS) software. • Supported all the aspects of the PDS software: User support, user training, software customization, and oracle database manipulation and project migration. • Supported the following products for the office users: Piping Modeling, Equipment Modeling, Isometric Drawing Manager, Interference Manager, Drawing Manager, Design Review, Smart Plant Review, Electrical Raceway, and Support Modeler. • Run in-house training for different disciplines (SPR, Drawing Manager) • Setup & implement: Clash Detection, Drawing Manager, Isometric Extraction and Reports. Setup Support Modeler: Project creation, customization. Automated the support drawing to minimize man-hours in drawing generation/re-work. • Support MicroStation for PDS user, MicroStation V7, V8i, Support Modeler, Oracle.
