Quickly assessed existing situation and prepared better policies and procedures for navigating verification audit. Team-led all preparation functions for an Investment Performance Standards audit for this organization. Acted as application expert for CFA’s Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) $246B reporting process; updated detailed manual. • Successfully piloted the internal examination/audit of this firm, verifying and testing efficacy of performance standards; also introduced strategy to executives that would comply with future 2010 standards changes. • Identified, recommended and implemented key procedural modifications to ensure that the company was in full compliance with all relevant federal regulations and performance requirements. • Introduced a new process to track changes for over 200 investment strategies more efficiently.
