Daily Duties at National Standard:

 Trained, coached, and developed Quality Control personnel, ensuring competency in all aspects of quality standards as well as client specifications, including operation of Atomic Absorption Unit and Spectrometer for testing protocols.  Directed process capability analysis for all wire mill processes, compiling analytical data into informed statistical evaluations that directly informed process improvement implementation.  Modernized process parameters for Wire Draw, Galvanizing, and Stranding manufacturing capability standards.  Interpreted customer specifications to develop more effective cleaning, coating, and annealing processes.  Analyzed and interpreted ASTM, SAE, and customer specifications into informed decision-making, making recommendations to sales groups on strategies to exceed client expectations.  Oversaw raw material rod selection to catalyze product completion rates, while identifying and resolving wire breaks.  Performed root cause analysis to mitigate and resolve filed claims with rod suppliers, streamlining solutions throughout relevant bodies and personnel to implement long-term, sustainable solutions.  Supervised, coached, and developed Quality Control personnel, ensuring competency in all aspects of quality standards.
