Hardware Engineering Principal/Senior Manager accountable for satellite ground components development, integration, test, verification and delivery. Program funding profile exceeded $50M and required interface with senior USAF officials and representatives. Organizational responsibilities included facilities, hardware engineering, network engineering, and system engineering. Reporting organizations included approximately 70 employees, with four managers. Oversight includes the management of hardware engineering organizations at multiple domestics, as well as, international locations. Responsible for subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions. Advised program office on hardware engineering activities to meet contractual deliverables and requirements. Analyzed data to determine risk and to mitigate cost, schedule and technical impacts. Managed proposals, estimating, and quoting efforts for new program requirements.
