Daily Duties at Courtyard Marriott Kauai:
Fulfill various tasks, including leadership, mentoring and counseling of 140 employees; benefit administration; bi-weekly payroll processing; and team-building events coordination Formulate and establish human resource policies and procedures for corporate and hotel employees Organize and update personnel files with current compensation, benefit, performance, and mandated information Serve as key recruitment contact, in charge of processing workers compensation injury report and coordinating facility efforts to ensure prompt medical attention to injured associates Participate in safety meetings, as well as keenly monitor and maintain logs on incident trends in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Act Assume accountability in processing payroll information, which include employment data, hours worked, pay rates, benefit deductions, and all withholdings on a bi-weekly basis Effectively conduct total compensation program benchmarking through salary, wage, and labor market surveys Render effectual support on all human resources-related activities and company-wide human resource initiatives, which include talent management, organization effectiveness, associate relations, compensation performance management, benefits, payroll, and staffing in collaboration with the management Work collaboratively with managers in conducting investigations by providing counseling and leadership coaching on a wide range of employee relations topics; which involved HR policy interpretation, compensation, and terminations Drive efforts in developing and implementing annual employee health and wellness fair
