• Provided healthcare needs for LifePoint's 57 - hospitals nationwide guiding the organization toward goals related to Meaningful Use, CPOE, and LOINC standardizing order codes, result codes, charge masters and building order sets for CPOE functions. Developed evidence based order sets facilitating best practices in diagnosis and treatment. • Created Laboratory LOINC codes to assist in electronic exchange and gathering of clinical results. • Successfully converted 17 Life Point hospitals with Meditech to HMS managing the build, implementation, configuration and support of HMS, Wyndgate and Electra Impact Power Path LIS modules to maximize system performance and functionality. • Played integral role in writing new laboratory and hospital policy based on HIS. • Partnered with other IT specialists in build, validate, educating and supporting users on SafeTrace TX, HMS, and Power Path LIS, HL7 and scripted interfaces, Citrix, SQL, Oracle and other applications. • Ensured all new LIS policies and operational processes align with JCAHO, CAP and other requirements. • Collaborated with the Corporate Operations / Compliance Team in analyzing laboratory workflows and practices to identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
