Hyperbaric Training Course Giving medication as prescribed by a physician. Taking vital signs, such as: blood pressure, temperature, and weight. Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas. Giving injections of medication, taking medical histories, Entering information into computer systems. Ensuring patients and their families understand instructions and education. Maintained clean, safe, and orderly treatment of wound care. Followed infection control policies and procedures Administered medications and antibiotics as prescribed by doctors Planned, implemented, and evaluated effectiveness of wound care programs Measured and pictured wounds in alternate weeks and assessed healing Performed weekly assessment on patients working closely with physicians Participated in optimizing performance improvement activities Developed and coordinated treatment plans Cleaned and dressed wounds and instructed patients for follow up care Responsible for wound management for varieties of wounds Provide direct, and in¬direct clinical services to patients Ensure safety of patients and self while treating wounds Maintain compliance with applicable laws for patient care Assess and treat wounds using scientific principle Monitor the wound healing process and change medications Clean wounds and apply bandages to control infection Prepare and provide teaching materials to patients and their relatives Notify doctors after witnessing new skin condition problems Specialize in wound management Strong assessment skills with knowledge of antibiotics Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures Good communication and documentation skills Excellent people skills and patient centric attitude Critical thinking and organizational skills Ability to work under minimal supervision and work for long hours.
