Daily Duties at At&T:
Responsible for identifying and strategizing plans, obtaining agreements on overall corporate strategy to enhance sales and profits for Latin America and International operations. Recommends the allocation of resources to existing businesses areas, the acquisition of new businesses, and the disposition of existing businesses. Negotiate terms and conditions of business agreements, and working with legal on contract structure. Provides leadership and direction for multiple functional areas. Manages professionals international team, country managers, supervisors and professional levels. Ensures appropriate resources to achieve financial and business objectives. Influences, and shapes and integrates strategy for functional area(s). • Leverages best practice legal and deal structures that can be utilized to negotiate new deals • Collaborates with business owners and stakeholder partners Finance, Legal, Procurement-and business owners to develop and adapt negotiation strategy and positions • Manages deal process by coordinating and documenting requirements with stakeholders • Works with business to identify real estate facilities deal and contract priorities on an ongoing basis • Evaluates impact of deals and contracts on the organization (e.g. Acquisition, Government Affairs, Finance, Privacy, etc) • Screens potential deals by analyzing market strategies, internal interest, overall potential, deal requirements, and financial impacts • Communicates team activities, updates, and progress to management, business owners, stakeholders, and partners on a regular and consistent basis • Reviews and collaborates short and long range plans, goals, and programs with business owners and stakeholders • Surveys and evaluates market for potential partners that align with stakeholders and business owner initiatives • Analyzes and evaluates market for new technologies, applications and other advances that may provide new business development opportunities for AT&T in International Markets • Investigates internal defined areas of interest from stakeholders to evaluate impact on Strategic Development • Interacts with other Strategic Development Team members and stakeholders to identify emerging trends • Seeks out best sources for information and point-of-view data on current and potential initiatives • Designs and manages partner programs, including responding to requests from potential partners, evaluating partnership opportunities, and concluding partnership deals. • Identifies, analyzes and develops market. • Performs financial analyses and supports other analysis and business planning as necessary. • Works closely with prospective and existing partners to identify and develop products and services and ensure successful launches. • Maintains and manages the company's portfolio with the objective of maximizing resources and driving sustainable revenue models with partners. • Works with Legal Department to negotiate and close licensing and revenue sharing agreements. • Supervise and develop staff through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc. Managed an international accounting and finance staff of 35, and $1.6 B budget.
