Daily Duties at Affiliated Computer Service(Acs):
Manage Business Processing Outsourcing Unit, for 21 New York Agencies, including the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes which include strategic planning, capital expenditure budgets, Financial Planning and Analysis(FPA), developing template, analyzing operation issues, key accounts, KPI’s, identifying unusual transactions, following-up and reviewing with management, and ensuring accuracy of budget submission to the corporate accounting system-Oracle and SAP. Prepare the monthly financial statements for corporate and each agency, including cash flow projects for both the entities. Manage the monthly reporting and submission process of operating units to corporate headquarters which includes the review of account reconciliations and journal entries ensuring compliance to GAAP, GAS(Government Accounting Standards) & Corporate and local policies • Supporting the Business Unit GM • Contribute to the direction, management and development of the business profitability • Prepare monthly financial package for management, Financial and management accounting, forecasting, budgeting and planning • Financial policies, systems and procedures • Cash management and cash flow optimization • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations • Support the management team with quotations, bids, pricing and investments review, risks identified and ROI projects that meet company’s invest criteria • Supervise and develop staff through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc. A staff of 35 professionals and a $1.9B budget.
