Daily Duties at Panasonic, Na:

Develop financial goals of the organization by preparing growth plans, providing financial projections, analyzing historical trends, overseeing accounting and finance services strategy and planning, capital expenditures planning, and assisting COO and CEO through financial reporting • Defines financial situation by completing quantitative analyses, including financial models foreign exchange, and political risk analysis into emerging markets • Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change and selecting vendors and resellers • Negotiate all company equipment leasing contracts with clients and vendor partners • Monitor finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed • Regularly monitors and reports on competitive landscape and identify / evaluate Company performance relative to identified KPI metrics and qualifiers • Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives • Develop financial planning and analysis capability within finance to identify and foster organization prospects by analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion; and projecting acquisition and expansion prospects • Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances • Identify and keep abreast of potential areas of financial exposure and stay current on financial, operational and internal control issues(SOX). • Keep abreast of all international issues and initiatives regarding competitors behavior. • Supervise and develop staff through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc. Managed a $650 budget and professional staff 18.
