Daily Duties at American University Student Health Center:
Directed the financial, administrative, safety, and emergency preparedness functions. Ensured compliance with applicable governmental, licensing, insurance, and accrediting requirements. Implemented quality assurance/improvement activities. Supervised staff including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and administrative support staff. Managed the $5M health insurance program. Engaged in on-going evaluation of services, delivery systems, marketing and communications, and strategic plans; and recommended and implemented changes as appropriate.
