Practice that covered municipal and county zoning and land use planning; wireless communications and regulatory law; commercial real estate transactions and leases; commercial real estate foreclosures; general business and contract law; and civil, corporate, and commercial litigation.  Worked as outside counsel for one of the largest wireless telecom companies in the world, Verizon Wireless, managing approximately 200 projects annually across various sites nationwide.  Supported all aspects of securing site for client Verizon Wireless, including commercial real estate transactions and leases, zoning and land use planning, wireless communications and regulatory law, negotiating with landlords (including municipalities and governments).  Appeared before planning commissions, boards of adjustments, and city councils for zoning regulations hearing and appeals regarding matters such as planning, zoning, annexation, and land use issues.  Handled correspondence with site acquisition firms, architects, landlords, and client officials on a daily basis.  Recognized as go-to person within the firm for zoning-related issues, handling everything from requirements for tower/antenna placement to obtaining approvals for placements.  Regularly commended for overcoming difficult placement issues and rescuing projects to successfully complete tower placements.  Actively advised clients through the conservatorship process, the development of estate plans the provided guidance during the probate process.
