Daily Duties at Multi Unit Franchised Operator:
In my role as Vice-President of Operations, I managed over 75 employees and was responsible for all operations within the four walls of the establishment. Daily responsibilities consisted of: cash reconciliation and cash management activities, including bill-paying; analysis of daily sales goals, review of menu mix purchases, transactions targets; review of manager notations (including employee or customer incidents); P.R.I.D.E system checklists and recommendations; equipment troubleshooting and maintenance; oversight of store set-up and verification of "high state of readiness"; quality control; inventory and purchasing; hiring and training; speed-of-service; hospitality scoring; labor goals; tracking waste; oversight of P.R.I.D.E system utilization. Weekly responsibilities included: Review of weekly sales, labor dollar, inventory, and forecasting goals; schedule routine maintenance and repairs of pertinent condensors, compressors, POS systems, and other electrical or plumbing issues; conducted weekly manager meetings to assess progress of Key Performance Indicators and Critical Success Factors; meet with media outlets and establish local marketing initiatives; Monthly initiatives consisted of one-on-one's with managers and key employees to address changing roles and progression towards areas of improvements; conduct a review with various corporate personnel to analyze operational results from pilot projects or test-marketing initiatives and to share in store-capability model progression.
