Daily Duties at American International Group:
● Prepared and analyzed AIG biggest oversea operation-Far East, Far East portions of AIUOA and AIRCO’s P & L by profit center and major/minor lines totalingmore than $3 billion ● Consolidated GAAP basis financial statements and their supporting schedules ● Prepared Statutory financial statement including page 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, underwriting and investment exhibit pages, Sch. A, B, BA, E, F, and IEE ● Analyzed and Coded Statutory underwriting P/L by annual statement line ● Prepared board report and its commentary for Vice President ● Performed annual and quarterly financial estimate including underwriting P/L, Other income & deduction, minority interest and budgeting ● Carried out F/X impact on P/L analysis for Comptroller department and tax accrual computation for tax department ● Cooperated with actuarial department in calculation of IBNR, OSLR and LAE reserves ● Set up and booked AIRCO and AIUOA’s reinsurance G/L entries ● Assisted I.T department in developing AXS - ONE database including explanation of reinsurance treaties ● Streamlined preparation, analysis and reporting by completely redesigning spreadsheets and coding Virtual Basic to automate financial reporting procedureresulting in reduction of two accounting staff
