● Prepared and analyzed direct, assumed and ceded GAAP and Statutory PW of $262M, GAAP and Statutory UPRs of $700M and $830M UPR amortization byeach assuming and ceding company and by Public and Structured finance, Surety and Trade credit products ● Set up and booked GAAP and Statutory direct, assumed and ceded PW, UPR, DAC and Contingency Reserve ($337M) according to NY Insurance Laws, theArticle 69 by product ● Queried PW, UPR, PE, NPV ($117M) and FV ($176M) through Brio for analysis by direct, assumed and ceding company and by policy ● Interacted with reinsurance department to resolve variances, discrepancies and inconsistencies such as cancellation of policies, refunding, takedown ofcontingency reserves and UPR ● Provided variance analysis and explanations for consolidated Financial Guaranty’s Policy Acquisition Cost of by product, remapping of Public and Structuredfinance policies by sectors ● Reconciled PW, UPR, DAC, Losses, IBNR, Reserves, Receivables, payables, funds-held, profit and accrual commissions on monthly basis ● Prepared consolidated Financial Guaranty snapshot of current and past underwriting year’s PW and PE by product and by department of quarterly statisticincluding GAAP and Statutory UPRs, Par and Debt services outstanding and exposure of $103B and $142B by derivative and non-derivative policy accordingto FASB 133 ● Interacted with auditors to provide variance analysis with explanations and supporting documentations ● Worked with IT to automate the calculation of PE by company and Sch. F in Pegasys and implemented macro to automate formatting and uploadingbordereaux into the database ● Prepared Statutory statements including Sch. F and T, Premiums and Losses of State page, UW and all Financial Guaranty Insurance exhibits, and providefigures for supplement exhibit ● Assumed some additional responsibilities from two departed AVPs and co-workers as the result of automation of processing and reporting procedures, andresponsibilities for training and supervising two accountants
