Daily Duties at Bp America:
Plan, direct and led 7 discipline engineers plus 1 document control person in their daily engineering activities (calculations, equipment lists, instrument lists, piping lists, electrical loads, etc.); review and agree on all design efforts to formulate the most cost effective project strategy that meets the required schedule; point of contact for communications with the engineering contractor, third party agencies (ABS, BSEE, etc.), and other subcontractors; routinely monitor project progress, cost, risks, and quality to identify trends and correct as necessary; ensure all safety, company, and industry standards are met; ensure project design meets all operation requirements; accountable for ensuring that project meets all BP Corporate Governance requirements; accountable for ensuing all required documentation is available to handover to Operations and Project Services on the project completion.
