Completed field surveys to ensure compliance of labor laws, and coordinating corporate holiday schedule. Conducted the New Hire orientation to faculty and staff. Conducted the AB 1825 Compliance: Sexual Harassment Training for California Supervisors to staff. Conducted the Connections: Train-the-Trainer to faculty and staff. Conducted the Annual Performance Appraisal Workshop presentation and created all related PowerPoint presentation slides. Conducted phone interviews with perspective eligible candidates and verification of references. Developed policies and procedures, plans, organizes, directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as recruitment, employment, compensation, labor relations. Interviewed and sourced candidates, managed employee benefit plans for all employees, administered workers' compensation claims/disputes. Employee Relations, recruitment, workers compensation, HR website. Addressed termination and benefit issues. Profile positions; source candidates; provide band and salary recommendations based on internal equity and competitiveness in the market; coordinate and participate in the interview process; prepare offer letters. Managed new associate orientation process including: coordinating orientation with the practice area and other appropriate associates; conducting human resource phase of orientation including conducting overview of benefits, performance development tools, and policies and ensuring that new associates feel welcome. Created and orchestrated the printing and disbursement of the annual college telephone directory; also created it to be placed on the company intranet. Completed salary increases in Banner each year for Faculty, Administration and Staff. Trained new staff employees on the Banner/Oracle software. Benefits Task Force Committee, Banner Meetings, Tuition remission procedures and a tuition exchange liaison for the college. Processed and counseled resigning employees during the exit interview, plus completing the exit interview analysis report. Initiated and researched background screening vendors to be processed on an individual basis for all new and existing employees. Recruitment for H1B-Visa new hires and current employees. Software used Banner/Oracle.
