Daily Duties at Tcl:

Controller – TTE North America (Indianapolis, 10/04-05/08) - Sales of RCA TV’s with revenue of 500M USD, report to TTE CFO and work as key member of NA business team and responsible for finance team - Participate in the activities of M&A of Thomson TV business, review legal documents and perform due diligence of Thomson assets to represent finance - Liaise with treasury at TTE headquarters to execute financing plans by working with US and other international banks including factoring of accounts receivables - Part of operations decisions to drive for better results including prioritization of customers and associated pricing, full truck load (FTL) - Work with Thomson after sales team to improve tracking of service activities to ensure policies are properly followed to avoid unnecessary costs - Participate in negotiations with Thomson on service agreements including termination of sales representation agreement to hire own sales people with better motivation, termination of collection service by in house function for quicker collection and lower bad debt costs. Controller - Schneider GmbH (Munich, 08/02-03/04) - TCL acquired TV and audio company (wholly owned) in Germany, annual sales of 40M Euro. Report to GM of TCL Multi-Media - Participate in the M&A of Schneider and perform due diligence, part of discussions of Schneider branding in Europe - Lead business planning after acquisition by working with managers in sales, production, purchase and R&D. Establishment of company policies - Participate in operations decisions to improve financial results including shipment of semi-finished goods from China to Germany for final assembly to save duty costs and promotion of audio sales with better margins - Lead the implementation of ERP (BAAN) system by working with consultants and internal functions.
