Daily Duties at Great Lake Principles:

I was in charge of the construction of the malls from conception to handing over the keys. I did all the bidding and contract negotiation, to comparing bids, to writing contracts, to setting up the pre-construction meeting, to value engineering, to doing buy outs and then writing contracts. After that I moved out into the field, and ran the project. I pulled all permits, scheduled inspections, had the mass grading, and underground installed, built pads, did the plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration under ( for our anchor tenant Dominick's Finer Food Stores 84,400 square foot super markets) then start footings and foundation, getting them ready for tilt up panels, and block, had steel and decking done, poured slabs and started the studs and drywall, put in storefronts, installed all plumbing, Electrical and HVAC, and refrigeration, did all flooring and painting, had TPO roofing installed. completed parking lots and all out building using the same subs.

What they like about Great Lake Principles:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
