Assisted U.S. companies that needed trade information and contacts regarding the Chinese market and organized two major U.S. company trade missions to China. Assisted in developing U.S. commercial policies within ITA and with USTR vis-a-vis China, compiled data and drafted two publications on the Caribbean Basin Initiative, and participated in USTR negotiations regarding intellectual property rights with China, Ecuador and Peru.
