Daily Duties at Integrated Medical Systems@ Rose Medical Center, Denver:
Responsible for the daily activities for sterile processing. I make the daily staff assignments and priority lists. Make sure the OR has all they need for the days cases. Everything has been sterilized by AAMI, AORN, FDA, OSHA, and the manufacturer’s guidelines. Rounding with OR Management Staff in order to build solid relationships. Attending various meetings, such as Infection Control, Orthopedics, etc. Hiring, training, education, coaching, disciplining of staff. Setting up in services for staff. Providing all necessary reports in a timely manner. Experience with KRONOS, SMART, MEDITECH. Assist with the writing of policies and procedures. Providing great customer service to the OR, Physicians, Patients, Vendors and all other staff throughout the hospital. Proficient in Steam Autoclaves, Sterrad (NX, 100NX, 100S), Steris 1E, Ultrasonic, Washers, Cart washers. Had input on Capital Purchase’s. Other duties as assigned.
