Daily Duties at University Of New Mexico Hospital:
Responsible for the daily activities for sterile processing. Make the daily staff assignments and priority lists. Make sure the OR has all they need for the days cases. Everything has been sterilized by AAMI, AORN, FDA, OSHA, and the manufacturer’s guidelines. Quality check of all sterilization logs. Random quality checks of sterilized trays monthly. Training, education, coaching of staff. Assist with the writing of policies and procedures. Providing great customer service to the OR, Physicians, Patients, Vendors and all other staff throughout the hospital. Proficient in Steam Autoclaves, Sterrad (NX, 100NX, 100S), Steris 1E, Ultrasonic, Washers, Cart washers. Other duties as assigned.
