Daily Duties at Getrag Corporation:

Asked by the VP of Getrag US operations to work in this position to insure that the processes in Manufacturing Engineering, process engineering, and industrial engineering were improved so that they would support current production and allow for the large growth that we were about to undertake. Direct reports - 6 Manufacturing Engineers and 1 Tool room and tool crib Supervisor., 1. Introduction of new products to manufacturing. 2. Quoting of components manufactured at the Facility. 3. Process routings and process plans for production release and updates in SAP. 4. Process Change Notification process. 5. Plant Layout 6. Tooling, fixtures, and machine specification and acquisition. 7. Prototypes, pre- production process approval, and release to production. 8. Process trouble shooting and implementation of Solutions. 9. Tool testing process and execution. 10. Tool repair and upkeep. 11. Indirect purchasing.
