Daily Duties at Green Biologics:
Produced renewable chemicals. Directed a process operations group of 9 people which achieved process scale up of GB advanced commercial fermentation process. Worked on innovative process development to create processes where fermentation and downstream processing are integrated (membrane bioreactors). Installed/updated lab facilities including shake flasks and 1L to 100+ L fermenters. Conducted fermentation process scale up and scale down at pilot plant and bench top units. Led capital project for pilot and lab facilities renewal and expansion. Achieved process scale up to large-scale fermentation production.
