Daily Duties at Oracle America Inc.:
Management of 11 support sales reps, 170 customers and $78 million in system and software support contracts. Responsible for on-time quoting, on-time renewals and reducing cancellations rates below 3% for software and 15% for hardware. Additional tasks included contract negotiations, consolidations, co-terms, tech refreshes and migrations on Premise and Cloud. Overachieved yearly sales quotas by 115% for the past 6 years, quotas ranged between $56M and $78M. This was accomplished during the most adverse financial period in our US Governments history. Customer base consisted of Commercial and Public Sector both Federal and Civilian end users as well as Value Added Distributors (VAD's) and Resellers (VAR's). Additional responsibilities included: Liaison between sales and extended teams including Marketing, Finance, Parts and Pricing, Service Delivery and Program Management to deliver a seamless experience to our customers, partners and resellers. Accurate tracking and forecasting of service contracts through the revenue cycle (Quote to Invoice) and circumventing or removing obstacles from my team to ensure timely revenue recognition. Administration of all internal sales cycle functions such as revenue management, customer relationships and executive reporting. Provided functional expertise and leadership to drive results of all new, promotional and existing offerings within the Oracle Services portfolio.
