As strategic programs consultant, managed 3 concurrent programs undertaken by HQ procurement department - Managed print services, Data Center Consolidation, Establish and enhance PMO department within HQ Procurement. - Drive initiation and planning of MPS program along with the MPS managed service vendor HP Inc - establish MPS program governance model, PMO setup for MPS - Manage, track and report status across 5 MPS workstreams - Engage with stakeholder groups across MTA agencies to manage scope, stakeholder engagement and change management - Track issues, risks and actions across the program - manage and direct project teams from HP and other internal resources specific to the tasks related to the MPS program - Run steering committee review and facilitate decisions from executive on major project decision points - Coordinate with communications, legal and compliance teams for vetting and disseminating internal project related communications - deliver PMO status reports and follow the PMO project life cycle Data center consolidation: - strategy and planning consulting and advisory to the IT and Strategic sourcing director with regards to consolidation RFP development - Managed 3 workstreams under DC consolidation - physical inventory analysis, service now IT discovery and cloud strategy development - Track, manage project progress, issue and risk management - conduct weekly and monthly reporting as per established governance cadence - support development of RFP Establish and Enhance Program management office function within HQ Procurement: - develop PMO department strategy - design PMO organization structure, roles and responsibilities - develop PMO charter document - develop PMO templates and project life-cycle methodology - facilitate implementation of the new PMO process across identified projects - help the Director of PMO in building the team - conduct training and mentoring sessions for the PMs and aspiring PMs
