Maintained all administrative functions for Officer, VP, and Human Resources as well as transcribed and prepared “confidential” correspondences, which involved high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive “confidential” information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy and discretion when communicating to the community-at-large Served as liaison key contact person providing around the clock support during our office transition from Norwalk to Shelton to ensure a move which was virtually transparent to our customers and painless to our colleagues with effective communication flow to employees, executives, commissioners, Mayor’s office, and public officials; designed “Getting to know Shelton” booklets for all employees; Received CEO Award for “Tremendous Performance” Provided job candidates by screening, interviewing, and testing applicants; notifying existing staff of internal opportunities; maintaining personnel records; obtaining temporary staff from agencies Assisted new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs
