•Responsible for the inventory management of various raw materials and commodities. These included guitar cases, electronics, finishing materials, clothing and related apparel, and various MRO items. •Responsible for purchase order placement, blanket order placement, purchase requisition conversion, and reverse logistics. •Worked collaboratively with suppliers to institute new shipping practices, optimize shipments’ schedules, and more effectively utilize freight capacity, resulting in annual cost savings of $80,000. •Developed scheduling and planning reports that significantly streamlined the position’s inventory planning function. •Worked with Sourcing Specialists to develop and execute service contracts for large-scale capital machinery, MRO items, and cleaning services.
