Daily Duties at Verizon Business:
Selected to lead global growth strategy for Security portfolio. Used forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of services by analyzing business environment and monitoring market trends. Reported directly to the Director of Platforms and Applications. Acted as proxy to Director when needed. • Led global sales team efforts to attain $3.5 million in revenue exceeding a $3 million revenue target for Security Services. • Drove profitable revenue growth through strategic development and implementation of product marketing plans; created comprehensive tools and content to support sales and services. • Improved and influenced the posture of Security Services by participating in weekly “Center of Excellence” strategy sessions with senior management. • Provided technology business solutions to more than 400 “new logo” customers. These included IaaS, Cloud, Security, and Managed Hosting solutions. • Provided account management and revenue growth to more than 300 existing customers including domestic/international carriers, ISP, ASP’s and SMB. • Led and influenced virtual teams in LATAM, EMEA, US, and APAC regions to achieve business alignment. • Worked with other Security Product Managers to envision, strategize and plan the development of Security offerings that align to and support Verizon’s global security strategy. • Produced quarterly newsletter to provide Security services updates to clients and internal Sales organization.
