Daily Duties at Frontier Communications:
Supervised workforce of 22 technicians and four contract employees. Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance of the telecommunication network as needed to maintain service for customers. - Coordinates budget preparations with corporate real estate services for building care and operations of 36 central office locations to include recommendations for equipment replacement, repairs, operational expenses, and minor equipment movement. - Responsible for the principal recommendation on the hiring of Service, Network and Business technicians. Completes appropriate performance reviews and recommendations on promotions, salary and other personnel matters. - Monitors departmental training efforts and coordinates training to assist in the implementation of all regional and corporate level training initiatives. Conducted over 500 training classes for employees about service delivery and product updates. - Ensure safe work environment by following OSHA safety standards - Conducted over 1000 quality inspections on technicians to ensure proper installation procedures were being followed - Project manager on a cross functional team that developed and installed an equipment upgrade that increased the capacity of data downloads to our customers by 75%.
