Daily Duties at Kos Pharmaceuticals:
I had complete ownership and responsibility for the promotion of Lipid altering medications to a target list of about 300 call points covering 2/3 of the state of Louisiana as well as responsibility for prospecting and opening new accounts for the purpose of utilizing these products. This was achieved through accurate analysis of sales, competitor and insurance data, networking, proper budgeting of promotional funds, analysis of long and short term trend data, tracking of goal attainment, target prioritization, marketing, resource allocation, daily presentations to individual physicians, clinics, cath labs, and pharmacies as well as groups and overall territory and time management. Main call points included cardiologists, endocrinologists, and select Primary Care Physicians.
